Hi!
Anyone who can solve this?

Hi!

this question is a little tricky, the bird travels at 40mph and goes back and forth, calculating the distance between the train and the bird again and again and again till we arrive is to complicated, the easiest way to solve is like this:

the train travels 30mph for 120 miles, so total travel time is 4h

So we know the bird will also be going back and forth for 4h (time till the train arrives)

in 4h and going 40mph we cover a distance of 160 miles regardless of what points in the journey the two meet and turn around

Hope this helps!!
