Acidity or Basicity of oxides

Hi Guys!
Can we say that Al2O3 will increase pH when added to water?
as we know metal oxides are basic but Al2O3 is an exception so, assume we have a question which gives a bunch of oxides and asks which ones will increase or decrease the pH on dissolution so, where we will put the Al203 on side which decreases pH or the one that increases.

Hi! So aluminium oxide is insoluble in water so I don’t believe it would affect the pH of water at all. I hope this helps :))
