ADH and the amount of water

Hi.
Is it right?: ADH increases the loss of water in urine.
Based on urine, I thought that the loss of water increases because the water in the urine escapes.
The answer is that’s false, but I don’t know why that is false.

hello! as far as I know it should be stated as ADH decreases the loss of water. It is because when ADH is present, the kidneys release less water to the system.

Does “the lost of water in urine” mean the amount of urine out of the body?
I understood that is a decrease in the percentage of water in urine.
So I thought that view was correct because the water in the urine decreased under the influence of ADH…
Thank you for your answer

yes i totally get your point but I think the wording in the question is a bit off

ADH retains water in your system, lowering (decreasing) water loss.
It acts on the Collecting Duct in the Nephron by regulating aquaporin permeability.

In effect, ADH decreases the amount of urine out of the body to retain water when you are dehydrated.

When hydrated, less ADH is released, dehydrated = more ADH
