DNA isolated after one generation was intermediate in density between the heavy and the light DNA.
Which means it has one N15 strand whereas one N14 strand while the entire DNA is hybrid containing both.
so, option C do makes sense.

does my reasoning make sense?
say we have a double stranded DNA (H=heavy L=light)

replication is semi-conservative so:

that give 2 offspring after binary fission
H--------------
L---------------
and
H--------------
L---------------
so 100% of offspring have hybrid DNA but only 50% of heavy stands
What do you guys think?

I think that makes sense! initially, i thought hybrid meant something else that’s why I got confused a lot.
