Biology question crossing over

answer: A
Can someone explain?

I think it’s because in prophase 1, crossing over occurs and these 5 images represent different possibilities of it. In order to answer this question we must find the image that doesn’t represent the crossing over between Q and q because if it does, allele Q and q wont be segregated during anaphase 1. Only option 1,2, and 3 are ones that doesn’t include Q and q crossing over; therefore, these alleles will separate in anaphase 1.
