Cystic fibrosis is caused by a mutation on for the gene coding CFTR protein, a CHLORIDE channel.
Could this later on affect calcium transport? Maybe? idk?
But i don’t think that’s what the question is asking for, they just want to check that you know it’s a chloride channel mutation, not its further effects.
