hi
all living beings are defined as one or more cells that are capable of growth and development, response to stimuli, homeostasis, organisation/hierarchy, metabolism, reproduction and evolution.
Therefore, all living unicellular organisms have growth, homeostasis, response, and metabolism
Most bacteria cannot do photosythesis, so option A) and C) are wrong.
Ventilation is not to be confused with respiration, it’s the mechanical exchange of air when expiring/inspiring. Bacteria don’t have lungs so option D) is wrong
only correct answer B)
thank you so much for the explanation!
one question, do we need to know more details into this topic? for example, do I need to know if bacteria are consumers or producers or hetero/autotrophs?
we don’t need to know that much detail, just that there is a lot of diversity in the living world, so many types of bacteria with different means of nutrition
