was able to get the Line equation for Q but how do unable to go any further. any help would be appreciated.

so Q: y=3X+2
R is perpendicular to P so the gradient P * gradient R = -1
3 * gradient R = -1
gradient R = -1/3
We know it intersects P on the y axis, so it passes by the point (0;7)
R: y=-1/3x+7
intersect when P=Q
3x+2=-1/3x+7
10x=15
x=15/10 = 2/2 + 1/2 = 1 + 1/2 option B)
