Carbohydrate Digestion in the Large Intestine

I recently found out that some indigestible carbohydrates are digested in the large intestine by bacterial enzymes. So does this count as part of digestion in the digestive system or not, since it’s by bacteria and not our actual body? Is it part of the IMAT?

i dont think it is part of the imat. but i think we can count mutualism as a part of digestion but it is very detailed.
