Cerebrum vs Cerebellum

Hi guys, I got a question regarding which part of the brain is most likely to have been affected when there’s a loss of memory. The mark scheme says cerebellum but I answers cerebrum. Isn’t the hippocampus in the cerebrum responsible in memory? It’s very confusing between the two haha.

Hi!

is this IMAT 2017 Q 32?
My answer key says D) cerebrum is the main area of memory formation

That’s funny, mine said A… Maybe a typing error because in the IMAT explanation book it says D too. So at least got that one right haha! I always get confused between the two so I wanted to double check!
