Chemistry acids and bases

A product formed from a base reacting with H2SO4
A. radioactive isotope
B. Monoclinic crystal
C. sulfur trioxide
D. sulfate salt
E. allotropic form
can someone explain why the answer should be E and how
thanks :))

The answer should be D, an acid+base will give a salt and water, Allotropes are different physical forms of the same chemical element. E.g graphite and diamond, both are carbon, and both are solids.

The term Allotropes Are not used to compounds, only for elements. H2O and a salt are both compounds, so they can not be called allotropes.
