Co2 use in plants

i understand the first two statements but for the third one, i thought generally plants don’t use the CO2 they produce directly. they use it from the atmosphere around them (even though indirectly they use it)

The key word is “can” which means it is a possibility that the CO2 produced by the plant could be used in respiration (example at low light levels). It’s not impossible :))

Hey Raya!:ok_woman: This is my point of view: CO2 is released constantly during the day and during the night because it’s always respiring (and CO2 is a waste product). What do you think?

Yes I do agree! It’s just in the light when photosynthesis occurs we consider it to be the dominant process that we learn about for IMAT capacity but yes it’s totally true :)) Thanks Aizza
