Hi, Centrosomes are only found in animal cells, but is it true that cytoskeletons are only present in animal cells?
I read on Google that recent studies have discovered that the cytoskeleton is also found in prokaryotic cells.
Can someone please explain this?
I’m pretty sure that as far as the IMAT exam is concerned, we shouldn’t worry too much about new research coming out, as they wouldn’t test us on such topics. Hence, prokaryotes lack a cytoskeleton (for the IMAT)
