As sister chromatides form in the S phase because of the replication, before the S phase we only have chromatide. Isn’t it right?

I completely agree with you. the pics that are all around internet confused me for a long time me cause I thought we had X-shaped chromosomes 24/7; but we only have X-shaped chromosomes after the S phase in Interphase like you said!
