Empirical formula

Hey guys, i attempted this question,A compound that consist of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen has 56.73 % carbon and 10.88 %
hydrogen by mass. Find its empirical formula.

i got C4H10O
the answer is C7H1603

hello! i also solved it.
your answer is not correct as this is asking for the emprical formula so you should divide all the subnumbers by the mole number of the smallest one. yet, the answer I found is also not the answer you gave. I checked online and I don’t think the answer you have is right.
Where is this question from?

this question is from ari’s mole converstion pdf, question 13, if you can, could you tell me how you solved it, or check the pdf?

I keep finding C2H5O
@Juliette can you check this one? Thanks!
