enzymes from bmat ninja

Hi, everyone! Can someone help with that test?
A team of scientists are investigating the effects of temperature changes on an enzyme X. Results from the experiment are included below.
Temperature Rate of reaction
10 25
20 41
30 46
40 38
50 34

What conclusions can the scientists draw from this experiment?

  1. The optimum temperature for this enzyme is 30°C

  2. At temperatures above 30°C the enzyme begins to denature

3 The study must be repeated using the same protocol in order to establish the optimum temperature

A non of them
B 1 only
C 1 and 2
D 3 only
E 2 only

Hi!

I would answer D), the optimum temperature is between 30°-40°, we must do further testing to find the exact value, we cannot say 1) is correct with absolute certainty.
Once we heat the enzyme beyond the optimum it will denature, so we cannot be certain for option 2).

Is this the correct answer?
