Evolution question

Which of the following is an embryological argument in favor of evolution?

A) All living beings have identical embryological stages
B) All vertebrates share common embryological characteristics
C) In vertebrates, similar embryological structures give way to similar postnatal structures
D) In animals, wings develop from identical embryological structures

Hi!
The answer is B), why is this a better fitting answer than C)?
Thanks!

Hello Juiliette! I think it’s because for vertebrates, that’s not always the case. Let’s take humans and bats for example (2 vertebrates):

The embryological structure that originates the “hands” is the same. However, our hands are different from the bat’s “hands” (which are even used to fly) therefore the postnatal structure is not the same.

Sorry if I misspoke something, need I remind you English is not my first language.
