This is a question of finding a genotype. Is it right that I know that it is autosomal inherited by looking at the words “homozygous recessive” and “heterozygous” given in the problem?

We don’t use the terms homozygous and heterozygous to describe genetic traits in males because they have two different sex chromosomes, X and Y. so yes thats how you know these terms describe autosomal traits.
