I’m quite new to this topic and am on the process of researching on this topic, but can anaphase (of meiosis) be an answer if it was an option?

Yes, if anaphase was a choice it would have been the correct stage for non-disjunction to occur. You must also know that nondisjunction can occur in mitosis anaphase or meiosis anaphase 1 or 2. But in general, it is always the anaphases!
