Hey! I’m a bit confused because I can´t tell the difference between C and D. Answer key says it’s C, how could I figure out this?

First: x^2 < 9
= x < 3
Secondly: 2x + 3 ≥ 5
= 2x ≥ 2
= x ≥ 1
Thus 1 ≤ x < 3.

Answer option D says that x <-3 but what we got by solving is X < 3 also even if you wanna multiply the other side by -1 the sign of inequality will reverse making it x>-3.
That’s why i think it’s wrong.
