This applies only to A and E, the rest have them on the left side. Right away we eliminated more than half the answers with only one piece of information. Note that the wardrobe is the only square and this is how we identify it.
2) The bed is on the same side of the room as the wardrobe and is over half the length of the room.
The fact that the wardrobe is over half the length of the room allows us to identify it (the biggest rectangle in the room, so the other is the desk).
