Hey, the total lawn area can be calculated efficiently if one perceives the shape as a 4 x 6 rectangle with a 2 x 1 rectangle taken out.
(4 x 6) - 2 = 22m^2
The amount of seed required is 22 x 50 = 1100g or 1.1kg
So, a 1kg packet and a 100g packet are needed. £14 + £2 = £16
