Hey! Can someone please explain me why option B is incorrect. I thought cornea plays a role in refraction of light to focus the light on retina.

  1. Yes the cornea refracts light but you cannot adjust it, it’s the lens that can do that

  2. This is in fact correct, any clear structure in the body does not have blood vessels passing through it (we would see everything blurry and in red if that was the case!).
    It depends on its nutrition by diffusion from neighboring fluid, the aqueous humour.
    Another example of this is cartilage in your articulations depending on the synovial fluid for nutrition.
