Can someone pls explain how can we distinguish between square planar and tetrahedral?

Hi!
Square planar is a molecular shape that results when there are four bonds and two lone pairs on the central atom in the molecule.
eg: XeF4.
whereas, Tetrahedral is a molecular shape that occurs when there are four bonds and no lone pairs in the molecule’s central atom.
eg: like the one shown here.
Hope it helps!
