The simple pendulum of a tall clock swings freely backwards and forwards so that it passes through the vertical position at 1.0 second intervals.
Assuming that the motion of the pendulum is simple harmonic, what is the length of the pendulum?
[Take the gravitational field strength to be 10Nkg–1, and take π2 to be 10.]
- the answer is 1m, I got 0,25m using the period of simple harmonic motion formula. Could someone solve this?
