Isomers question solving

Can someone please explain how to get the answer right ?

hi is the answer C? The valency of the carbon to which Methyl is attached isn’t fulfilled and thus the formula of pentane is c5h12 but the whole distribution of hydrogens in that molecule is throughly wrong

Yes right , thank you

why? it’s connected to 4 methyl groups

Connected to 3 not 4

Carbon #2 misses one hydrogen, and carbon #3 cannot have 5 covalent bonds. Therefore C is the correct answer.
