Kidney and urine production question

-if ATP production in a human kidney was suddenly halted, urine production would
A- decrease and the urine would be hypoosmotic compared to plasma
B- increase and the urine would be isoosmotic compared to plasma
C- increase and the urine would be hyperosmotic compared to plasma
D-decrease and the urine would be isoosmotic compared to plasma
the answer key says it should be B but I couldn’t understand the logic behind it.

The production of Urine would increase, ATP is used in active transport to pump ions in and out of the Tubules (Proximal/ Distal) & also within the Loop of Henle to maintain certain concentrations of solute. Without ATP their would be a build of ions and waste products in the Kidney results in an overproduction of Urine…
