Hi guys! I can’t solve the area of the STUVP.
I found that the area of PQRS is 12√3 and I approximated that the area of the lower figure will be 16 but it doesn’t yield me the right answer.

Hey, it comes as definition of regular octagon. One of the properties of regular octagon is all symmetrical lines have equal length.

Would you mind going through that last step? , maths aint my best but I managed to get the 2 values for the ratio (12root3 and 16root2) just unsure how to get it into the ratio that you got as the answer
