Mitosis - Cell division

In which phase of interphase of mitosis do centrioles replicate?

Hi,
Centriole duplication starts in the early S-phase by making a procentriole assembly. It continues to construct the new centriole by elongation through the S-phase and G2-phase.

Interphase is not part of mitosis, but part of the cell cycle. Mitosis is also part of the cell cycle.

Extra note:
Centriole duplication is a necessary process for making microtubules organizing centers (MOC). MOC happens under both the mitosis and meiosis.

yes you are absulatly correct. Through the mitosis process, cells replicate their chromosomes and then segregate, generating two duplicate nuclei.

Neither replication of chromosomes nor segregation of the cells happen in mitosis. The former happens under S-phase of the interphase, and the latter happens under cytokinesis.

Interphase, mitosis and cytokinesis are distinct parts of the cell cycle.
