Can someone please explain it to me . I know 1st option is correct but I think 2 and 3 is also correct.

Hi what is the correct answer for this question?

  1. Should be false since the concentration of proteins is higher in the arterioles than the tubules. Osmosis would move water from the least concentrated to the most concentrated so it would explain the OPPOSITE movement of water from the tubule to the glomerulus.
  2. Similarly, the third option should be false, higher pressure in the tubule would cause the OPPOSITE movement of water from the tubule to the glomerulus.
