If 500 mL of 0.05 M H2SO4 Solution is added to 500 mL of 0.08M NaOH solution , what will be the pH measured at 25 degree celsius ?
hello! would you mind telling the answer of this question? so that when sending the solutions, we would know if it’s correct or not
A) 2
B) 3.50
C) 7
D) 10.3
E) 12
These are the options the correct answer for this question is not available online
You’re right until the very last step. H2SO4 left is 0.005 mol in a 1l solution, so H+ is 2x0.005 = 0.01 mol (H2SO4 has 2 H) → hence pH = 2
