Hey guys, i keep getting 5 for this question I think I’m writing the equations wrong but i dont have any idea on how to equate them otherwise

you are correct that the maximum height is 5m
at 5m : 0=mgh
at 2m : 1/2mv²=0
at the halfway height we have Ec=Ep
(5+2)/2=3,5 meters
