Physics-Pressure and Hydrostatics

Hello. Can someone please help me with this question on the PDF provided? Thanks in advance

I’m not sure if this is the answer please disregard if not!

constant velocity = no acceleration = no resultant force,
so force needed + upthrust = weight

F + pgV =mg where p is equal to fluid density of freshwater = 1000kgm^-3
F + 100010340 = 1530x10
F = 15300-3400000
= - 3384700 N which is 3384700 N upwards.

Honestly I’m not sure if I’m right so someone please double check with this!

Hey Raya, I think this works!
