Pressure & Volume (Physics)

A: the larger, the larger is the surface area of the fish
B: exactly equal to the atmospheric pressure
C: approximately 2/3 of the atmospheric pressure
D: equal to 1.5 times the atmospheric pressure

Hi!

Below the surface of water the pressure will increase so we can rule out B) and C)
P=Patm+Phydrostatic
= 100 000 Pa + g * h * density of water
= 100 000 + 10 * 5 * 1000
=100 000 + 50 000
= 150 000 Pa

So P = 1,5 times Patm

Hope this helps!
