Slope intercept graph question

There are two types of formulas in the slope graph topic.
How are they different from each other and if they are different, how to use them in their specific place?
One is the slope-intercept formula that is y=mx+B

The second one is y-y1=m(x-x1)

Thank you.

hello! one helps you see the y and x interception with the axises directly and the other is the usual formula that helps you see the slope. they give out the same line in the graph but you gotta use them in different questions. depending on what the question has given you, you can use either.
