Hey guys, I’m studying on tyrosine derivatives. How much do we have to know? I learnt that they include thyroxine and catecholamines for fight/flight. Is that enough on tyrosine derivatives or do we need to know more about them? Thanks in advance! xx
Hey Raya,
probably just recap the properties (some tyrosine derivatives act as peptide hormones = need second messenger; others as steroid ones = go directly into the cell), examples such as thyroxine, noradrenaline and adrenaline, and the general functions:)
