does anyone know how to solve this question?
Was this multiple choice? My only reasoning is that using the dates and days provided we can figure out its a leap year - but I have no idea how you would get 1976 just like that.

in these questions the answer is most usually a number that is divisible by 4 as long as feburary is mentioned

Just saw that - yeah its just about considering the leap year then!
