Tolc med 2019 Q36 - Biotechnology

Hey, the answer is E ligase, can someone kindly explain why?
Also is A and B indicating something about DNA?

i checked from google and found out that in sanger’s method we add

polymerase solutions given and I think A and B are 2 of those
ligase is a component that stitches the DNA instead of breaking so in a reaction purposed of breaking down, ligase wouldn’t help
let me know what you think

Are there any other biotech methods we need to know for the IMAT?

well you should know PCR, how to use restriction enzymes and ligases in plasmids vectors etc.
