TOLC med simple harmonic motion

Hi

I used P=E/t = (1/2kx² * frequency) / t
= (1/2 * 8 * (1/2)² * 30) / 3600 = 1/120
I’m confused how we’re supposed to incorporate the frequency into the equation

Hey t isn’t 3600s it’s 60s

Frequency is 1/T

So its P= E/t
and then E = 1/2kx^2
so its 1/2kx^2 * F for the answer (and you need to convert frequency units to per second)
1/2kx^2 = 1 and then multiplying by frequency of 0.5 gets you the answer.
