I don’t know if it’s in our topics, but you can guess the answer without knowing it!
The last step has to be L, we did all these steps to amplify, tag and isolate the mRNA to be able to see a result on the scanning machine.
So we are already left with options 1) and 4).
The second last step would be hybridisation of the probes, as probes are used to detect complementary sequences, they would be present on the gel or eletrophoresis plate to be attach to the tagged DNA and be ready to scan.
So in my opinion the answer is 1).
I’m sure we could find the conclusion by guessing with other knowledge you may have about biotechnologies.
